According to information under investigation, police received a report at around 9.20 pm about an explosion in an area of Sotira. Officers went to the scene, where they found the injured man outside a metal storage area used as a garage. The 30-year-old was initially taken to Famagusta General Hospital, but due to the seriousness of his condition, he was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. According to information obtained by philenews, the injured man is a foreign national known to the authorities. Police are investigating his actions before the explosion. The Famagusta Criminal Investigation Department continues its investigation.
