According to police, the fire broke out around 3:15am while the car was parked in an open carport outside the woman’s house. The woman put the fire out herself. It caused damage to the front of the car and the front windscreen. Officers and firefighters attended the scene and carried out an initial examination. The scene was cordoned off this morning for further examination by police and the Fire Service, to establish the cause of the fire. Morphou CID is investigating.
