**Beach Volleyball Championship Raises €300,000 for One Dream, One Wish**
The Cyprus Shipping Chamber hosted its annual charity beach volleyball championship on September 5, 6, and 13, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to the One Dream, One Wish association. This year’s event marked a significant milestone, as the championship has collectively raised over €300,000 for the organization over the past 30 years.
One Dream, One Wish is dedicated to supporting children who are battling cancer and related illnesses. The charity aims to provide these children with memorable experiences and opportunities, helping to alleviate some of the challenges they face during their treatment journeys.
The beach volleyball championship has become a staple event within the Cypriot shipping community, fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation among the 23 member companies that participated this year. The event not only promotes physical activity and camaraderie but also emphasizes the importance of social responsibility within the business sector.
The Cyprus Shipping Chamber expressed gratitude to several key contributors who made the event possible.
