**Bicommunal Crochet Installation Opens in Limassol**
A vibrant multicultural crochet installation, titled "A Thousand Hands, A Thousand Stories: Common Ground," was inaugurated over the weekend at the Cyprus Medieval Museum located within Limassol Castle. This unique art project, which aims to foster mutual understanding among diverse communities, is part of the Open Air Crochet Installations initiative led by the bicommunal organization Peace2Peace, also known as Connective Threads.
The installation features an impressive array of thousands of hand-crafted flowers, each symbolizing the creativity and collaboration of women from various ethnic backgrounds across Cyprus. Over a six-month period, these women came together to create the crocheted flowers, which are inspired by the island's rich archaeological heritage and shared cultural history.
