**Bodies of 15 Boat Accident Victims Returned to India**

The flight carrying the mortal remains, operated by Vietnam Airlines, was designated as VN 979 and was scheduled to arrive in Mumbai at 21:30 local time. The state governments of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu are coordinating the logistics for the transportation of the bodies to their respective families.
According to reports, the boat capsized within minutes of its departure when it was struck by a large wave. Eyewitness accounts indicated that the vessel swerved violently in rough waters before ultimately overturning. Rescue teams were able to reach the scene within five minutes, successfully retrieving survivors from the water.
Among the survivors, one individual is reported to be in critical condition and has been transferred to Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City for specialized medical treatment.
The group of tourists was reportedly on a trip organized by a smartphone manufacturer for its employees, distributors, and retail partners. This excursion was intended to be a recreational outing, showcasing one of Vietnam’s most popular beach destinations, located approximately six miles south of Phu Quoc, the country’s largest island.
