**BTS Star V Reveals Hearing Loss Battle During Livestream**
In a candid revelation during a recent livestream, V, a member of the globally acclaimed K-pop group BTS, disclosed that he has been grappling with hearing loss in one ear for over two years. This announcement comes as the band embarks on their much-anticipated world tour, marking a significant reunion for all seven members after a period of mandatory military service.
During the livestream, which took place on Wednesday, the 30-year-old artist, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung, shared that he has been receiving treatment for his hearing issues. "If the hearing in my left ear is at 100, it's only about 30 in my right," V explained, highlighting the severity of his condition. This was the first time he openly discussed his hearing problems with fans, expressing that he initially underestimated the seriousness of the situation.
V revealed that his hearing difficulties worsened during his time in the military, where he served as part of South Korea's mandatory military service, which typically lasts for 18 months for able-bodied men. He spoke about a shin injury that he has been managing throughout the tour, revealing that he is "on the verge of developing a stress fracture."
