In 2023, after ten consecutive editions, the festival announced it was adopting a biennial format and took a deliberate pause to reconsider its role as a bi-communal festival in Nicosia. Organisers said the pause created more time for reflection on the festival’s role in Cyprus’s constantly evolving artistic landscape, as well as for cultivating deeper and more sustainable collaborations. This year’s 11th edition marks a return to the festival’s essence and roots, as a unique space for those who “dare to question,” organisers said. The festival welcomes 10 artists and artistic groups from Cyprus and abroad, presenting performances and installations over three days that challenge established perceptions, expand the boundaries of artistic expression, and encourage new ways of viewing and understanding artistic experience. 2026 programme Sophie Fetokaki and Rahme Veziroglu (Cyprus) — the fruit of dreams/φρούτα ονείρων/ rüyadaki meyveler Anas Younes (Syria/Netherlands) — On Anger and Fatigue Yeva Sai and Matteo Marongiu (Ukraine/Italy) — One Sunday Morning Koullou Makka Collective (Cyprus) — In Our Bubble(s) Beatrice Mariani, Skyla Buchanan, Chiara Capizzi and Jitske Cosemans (Cyprus) — Don’t look at the dead cat!
