At a certain point the footage froze as movement in the frame stopped. The vehicle is under examination by British Bases investigators and is expected to be inspected, probably today, by a specialist from the car’s dealership. Evidence gathered so far indicates the children found one door open, but the car appears to have then locked with them inside, where they remained for more than three hours. No safe conclusions have yet been reached on the cause of the two children’s deaths. In a brief statement, the British Bases said “the cause of death, following the post-mortem, will require further tests to be established.” According to philenews information, a forensic pathologist from Greece took samples from the bodies for histopathological examination. The boys had been left unsupervised after both their 30-year-old father and his 38-year-old partner left for work on Sunday morning. Both remain in custody, having been remanded for three days.
