"The tactic of covertly crossing the gray zone via underground routes was practiced by assault units during the main stage of the strategic command and staff exercise Center-2026 at the Chebarkul training ground. The assault groups carried out a covert advance along the water supply line and through a pre-prepared underground passage to the rear of the enemy’s stronghold," it said in a statement.
