**CYMEPA Organises Beach Clean-Up at Malindi Beach in Limassol**
On September 24, 2026, the Cyprus Marine Environment Protection Association (CYMEPA) will host a beach clean-up event at Malindi Beach in Limassol, coinciding with the observance of World Maritime Day. The clean-up is set to commence at 10:00 a.m. and is part of broader activities celebrating both World Maritime Day and European Maritime Day under the theme "EMD in My Country."
The event is being organised under the auspices of the Shipping Deputy Minister, Ms. Marina Hadjimanolis. It aims to unite various organisations and stakeholders involved in shipping, business, and marine environmental protection. Participants will include a diverse array of groups such as the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, Cyprus Union of Shipowners, Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry, WISTA Cyprus, YoungShip, CMMI, The Propeller Club, Master Mariners Association, The Nautical Institute, Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, Limassol Marina, DP World Limassol, Eurogate, Ancoria Insurance, and AKTI.
