**Cypriot Journalist Sevgul Uludag Passes Away at 67**
Sevgul Uludag, a distinguished Cypriot journalist known for her unwavering commitment to uncovering the truth about Cyprus’ missing persons, passed away on Sunday at the age of 67. Her career, which spanned over 45 years, was marked by a deep dedication to the families of the more than 2,000 individuals who have remained unaccounted for since the intercommunal violence of the 1960s and the subsequent Greek-backed coup d’état and Turkish invasion in 1974.
Uludag's work was characterized by meticulous research and a compassionate approach to storytelling.
