Organised by the Rialto Theatre, the festival is described as an invitation to musical encounter, with a focus on cultural exchange and contemporary artistic expression. It brings together artists from Cyprus and Greece, combining diverse musical influences and traditions. The festival is also participating for the first time in a broader European cultural network through the Rialto Theatre’s membership of the European Festivals Association (EFA). All concerts will take place between the Rialto Theatre and the SEK Parking Area, behind the theatre, with free admission to most events. Programme highlights The festival opens on 8 July at 21:00 with Martha Frintzila, The Kubara Project and Kalogeraki Bros. The performance combines theatricality, poetry and a wide musical repertoire spanning two centuries. Tickets cost €22 / €18. On 12 July at 21:00, Kobrah Habibi presents a hybrid performance blending DJ culture, Eastern Mediterranean traditions and electronic music. Admission is free, with ticket reservation required and no seat allocation. On 16 July at 21:00, Nabuma performs a neo-soul and contemporary R&B set influenced by jazz and cinematic soundscapes. Admission is free, with reservations required. On 17 July at 21:00, Koza Mostra return with their “Bulletproof Tour”, combining rock, traditional elements and punk influences. Admission is free with reservation required. The festival concludes on 21 July at 21:00 with “Near to Far East: Cyprus Kollective Big Band”, featuring the Cyprus premiere of Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn’s Far East Suite. Admission is free with reservation required. Venues and access Concerts on 12, 16, 17 and 21 July will take place at the SEK Parking Area behind the Rialto Theatre. Admission is free for all concerts except the opening performance on 8 July. Reservations are required for free events and do not guarantee seating, as capacity is limited.
