**CySEC Launches Autumn Seminar Programme for Certified Professionals**
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has unveiled an extensive programme of online professional training seminars aimed at certified individuals registered in its certification registers. Spanning from September to December 2026, the initiative consists of 14 one-day seminars, each lasting five hours and conducted in English.
These seminars are designed to assist certified professionals in meeting the requirements outlined in paragraph 17(2) of the Directive concerning the Certification of Persons and Certification Registers (44 of 2019). The topics covered in the programme include market abuse, ethics in financial services, anti-money laundering (AML), and the newly established European Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA).
The seminars are scheduled to take place on Saturdays, allowing participants to engage in professional development without conflicting with typical weekday commitments. Aikaterina Gkouma will lead three sessions focused on the Market Abuse Regime, set for September 5, September 26, and October 17. Additionally, she will conduct three seminars on Ethics in Financial Services on November 7, November 21, and December 5.
Konstantinos Papageorgiou will present four seminars that delve into the establishment of the AMLA, with sessions scheduled for September 26, October 10, November 7, and November 14. He will also facilitate four additional seminars covering the AML Regime in Practice, Common Pitfalls, and Key Risks on October 17, October 24, December 5, and December 12.
The participation fee for each seminar is set at €120 per participant. Registrations will be accepted until the Wednesday before each seminar, while cancellations can be made until the preceding Sunday via email. Participants who successfully register will receive a payment receipt at the email address provided, without the need for further confirmation.
Attendees will be sent a participation link via email a few days prior to their respective sessions.
