According to the details under examination, the 23-year-old was riding his motorcycle in the Kato Polemidia area of Limassol at around 9.50pm when he was approached by three people unknown to him. The men allegedly attacked him and struck him with sticks, before stealing his motorcycle, €100 in cash and two mobile phones in his possession and fleeing the scene. The victim was taken to Limassol General Hospital, where doctors found bruising to his abdomen and right arm. He was discharged after receiving first aid. Police investigations later located the motorcycle abandoned on an open plot of land in Limassol. CID Limassol is continuing its investigation. Yesterday, it was revealed that a gang of young people appears to be behind around the last five robberies targeting food delivery drivers in Limassol. It is unclear if this robbery is part of the same group’s criminal activity.
