**Education Ministry Opens Registration for Adult Training Courses**
The Ministry of Education in Cyprus has announced the opening of registrations for its adult training courses, which will remain available until the end of the month. The courses are set to commence in the second half of October, providing a valuable opportunity for adults seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge.

To ensure that a course can be organized, a minimum number of participants is required. Specifically, at least nine individuals must register in rural areas, while urban areas require a minimum of eleven participants. The training centres operate in various locations, including towns and rural areas, utilizing public school buildings and other suitable venues. Classes are scheduled at different times throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, to accommodate the varying schedules of adult learners.
Tuition fees for the courses are set at €55 for all subjects. However, there is a reduced fee of €27.50 for participants born before 31 October 1961 or those residing in communities with fewer than 500 people. This pricing structure aims to make the courses accessible to a broader audience. Payments are to be made exclusively online through the JCC service and will only be processed upon instruction from the course trainer.
Once the registration period concludes, trainers for each course will be appointed. They will then reach out to participants directly to arrange the first meeting, ensuring a smooth start to the educational experience.
The Ministry of Education reports that over 25,000 individuals participate in the adult education centres’ courses each year, highlighting the popularity and importance of these training opportunities in the community.
