An 85-year-old man, Andreas Christou, has died from injuries sustained in a traffic incident in the Anthoupolis refugee settlement in Nicosia. The police confirmed his passing on Friday, following the accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon.

According to police reports, Christou was walking behind a vehicle that was reversing when he was struck by the car driven by a 38-year-old man.
