"As of the current moment, no appeals have been received on the embassy's hotline from Russian citizens regarding the earthquake that occurred in Colombia on the morning of August 10," the diplomat noted. "At present, embassy staff are in contact with regional authorities to verify information about allegedly affected compatriots. If necessary, the embassy is ready to provide them with the required assistance." According to Colombia’s El Tiempo newspaper, at least 1,310 people have been injured in the calamity.
