**Esso Safe Vision Program Successfully Completes First Phase of Free Eye Exams**
The "Esso Safe Vision" program, organized by eWise Cyprus Ltd, has successfully concluded its first phase, providing free eye examinations to drivers across Cyprus. This initiative is part of eWise Cyprus Ltd's Corporate Social Responsibility efforts aimed at enhancing road safety through early diagnosis of vision problems.
During the initial four events held at selected Esso gas stations, a total of 174 individuals participated in the screenings. The results revealed that 53 participants had normal vision and did not require corrective lenses, while 100 were already wearing glasses. Notably, 21 individuals were identified as needing glasses for the first time, underscoring the critical role of preventive eye exams in maintaining not only driving safety but also overall quality of life.
The program emphasizes the importance of regular eye examinations for drivers, as good vision is essential for safe driving and can significantly reduce the risk of traffic accidents.
