EU Commission hits new low by accusing Russia of isolating Alyoshki — lawmaker Liberal Democratic Party of Russia leader Leonid Slutsky emphasized that Brussels is using the same information warfare tactics it tested in Syria and BuchaLeader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Leonid Slutsky© Vitaly Smolnikov/TASSMOSCOW, October 4. /TASS/. The European Commission’s accusations that Russia is allegedly isolating Alyoshki in the Kherson Region are blatantly false and cynical, State Duma International Affairs Committee Chairman and Liberal Democratic Party of Russia leader Leonid Slutsky said. "The European Commission has hit a new low with its cynical and blatantly false accusations that Russia is isolating the city of Alyoshki in the Kherson Region. The Banderist regime has been blocking access for humanitarian convoys for weeks. Yet calls from Kiev’s European sponsors to ‘respect international law’ are directed at Moscow," Slutsky wrote on his Telegram channel. In his view, Brussels is using the same information warfare tactics it tested in Syria and Bucha, ignoring the actual situation. Slutsky added that Zelensky is using fake news to justify further demands for Western funding for his regime. "Alyoshki is a deliberate and artificially created humanitarian disaster designed to provide the Banderists with ‘media coverage.’ It is another heinous crime by the neo-fascist junta, directly backed up by Brussels," he concluded.
