**Eurobank Joins 'All Children with School Supplies' Campaign to Support Vulnerable Families in Cyprus**
In a significant initiative aimed at supporting vulnerable children and families across Cyprus, Eurobank Limited has partnered with the Cyprus Volunteerism Coordinative Council to launch the 'All Children with School Supplies' campaign. This campaign, which was officially announced in a press release on Monday, seeks to ensure that children are equipped with essential school supplies as they prepare to return to school in September.
The campaign has successfully gathered a variety of educational items, including dozens of schoolbags, pencil cases, stationery, books, fairytales, and educational toys. These supplies are intended to meet the basic needs of children from less privileged backgrounds, particularly those living in areas such as Rizokarpaso and Kormakitis in the occupied north of Cyprus.
In addition to the school supplies, Eurobank has also made a generous contribution of desks, bookshelves, chairs, computers, and other technical equipment, all of which are in excellent condition. These items will further enhance the educational environment for children in need.
Elias Demetriou, the chairman of the Cyprus Volunteerism Coordinative Council, received the collected items from Eurobank. He emphasized the importance of the campaign, stating that every item collected carries "a message of love and hope." Demetriou highlighted the long-term impact of such support, noting that by aiding children today, society is investing in a brighter future for all.
Eurobank's involvement in the campaign reflects its commitment to promoting equal opportunities for all children in Cyprus. The bank aims to foster a sense of volunteerism and social solidarity within the community, underscoring its dedication to creating a future filled with opportunities, hope, and prospects for the younger generation.
As the new school year approaches, the 'All Children with School Supplies' campaign stands as a testament to the collective effort of businesses and organizations in Cyprus to uplift those in need, ensuring that every child has the tools necessary for a successful educational journey.
