The following days saw an increase in the volume of shares repurchased. On August 11, Eurobank acquired 243,012 shares valued at €1,095,065.21, trading at an average price of €4.5062, with prices ranging from €4.4930 to €4.5320. The trend continued on August 12, when the bank purchased 249,549 shares valued at €1,122,823.09, averaging €4.4994, with a price range between €4.4810 and €4.52.
On August 13, the bank repurchased 254,246 shares for €1,142,955.76 at an average price of €4.4955, with prices varying from a low of €4.4710 to a high of €4.5130. The final day of the buyback period, August 14, marked the largest single-day transaction, with Eurobank acquiring 264,642 shares at a cost of €1,188,305.19, achieving an average price of €4.4902, within a price band ranging from €4.4760 to €4.50.
Following the completion of these latest transactions, Eurobank now holds a cumulative total of 21,187,677 of its own shares. This ongoing buyback programme is indicative of the bank's strategy to return capital to shareholders and optimize its capital structure.
