**Eurobank Launches 'Morfosi' Education Loan to Support Young Learners**
In a move aimed at empowering the youth of Cyprus, Eurobank has introduced the 'Morfosi' Education Loan, a financial solution tailored for university students and school pupils. This initiative acknowledges the critical role education plays in shaping the future of young individuals, as well as the financial challenges they may face in pursuing their academic goals.
The 'Morfosi' Education Loan is designed to cover a broad spectrum of educational expenses. This includes tuition fees for both public and private institutions, costs associated with acquiring professional qualifications, and fees for private schooling. Additionally, the loan supports various living expenses such as rent, transportation, and other monthly expenditures that students may incur while studying.
One of the standout features of the 'Morfosi' loan is its flexible repayment terms. Borrowers can choose repayment periods of up to 10 years for unsecured loans and up to 15 years for secured loans. This flexibility is further enhanced by a grace period of up to five years, during which borrowers are only required to pay interest. The repayment of the principal amount begins once the student has completed their studies, allowing them to focus on their education without the immediate burden of loan repayments.
For those opting for a secured loan, Eurobank offers a fixed interest rate for the first three years, providing additional financial predictability during the early stages of repayment. The maximum loan amount available is €30,000 for unsecured loans and €250,000 for secured loans, enabling students to access substantial financial support.
In addition to the 'Morfosi' Education Loan, Eurobank has also launched 'My Account 18–25', a banking solution specifically designed for young people aged 18 to 25. This account comes with a host of benefits, including zero maintenance fees and a Youth Debit Card with no annual fee. A notable feature of this account is the complimentary travel insurance, which adds an extra layer of security for young travelers.
The account also offers an overdraft facility of up to €1,200 at a discounted interest rate, allowing for greater financial flexibility. Customers can make free cash withdrawals in euros at ATMs worldwide and enjoy free cash withdrawals in foreign currencies of up to €500 per month. Furthermore, the account provides free currency conversion for card transactions in foreign currencies of up to €1,000 per month, making it easier for young people to manage their finances while studying or traveling abroad.
Through these initiatives, Eurobank aims to equip the younger generation with the financial resources necessary to navigate their educational journeys. By addressing both the immediate and long-term financial needs of students, the bank is fostering an environment where young individuals can pursue their academic ambitions with greater confidence and independence.
As education remains a pivotal phase in the lives of young people, Eurobank's commitment to supporting this demographic reflects a broader understanding of the importance of financial literacy and independence. The 'Morfosi' Education Loan and 'My Account 18–25' are significant steps in ensuring that the youth of Cyprus have the tools they need to succeed in their educational endeavors and beyond.
