Speaking at the 12th St. Petersburg International United Cultures Forum, de Gaulle, who heads the Foundation for Peace and Friendship Between Peoples, argued that a stable and just peace can be achieved "only when nations are strong and sovereign." "European technocracy is destroying the soul and heritage of our ancestors," de Gaulle said. He also called on European countries to "draw inspiration from the development dynamics of BRICS and the multipolar world."
