According to the Fire Service, crews responded to the crash at 4:09 pm after the two vehicles collided. Firefighters used cutting gear to free both drivers from the wreckage, working alongside paramedics at the scene. The two drivers were handed over to two ambulance crews and taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of Nicosia General Hospital for medical treatment. A Fire Service rescue vehicle and its crew responded to the scene.
