In a focused effort to combat juvenile delinquency, police in Polis Chrysochous apprehended four minors for driving without valid licences during a comprehensive operation conducted on Tuesday. The operation, which took place from 6 AM to 1 PM, involved collaboration between the Paphos traffic police branch and the local police station in Polis Chrysochous.
The minors, three of whom are 16 years old and one who is 17, were found operating vehicles that raised several red flags for law enforcement. Notably, two of the four vehicles were discovered without registration plates and showed signs of modification, indicating potential illegal alterations.
Authorities seized all four vehicles, which were registered to relatives of the minors, as part of an ongoing investigation into how the young individuals gained access to them.
