The Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department (CID) confirmed the development, stating that in cooperation with other security services of the Republic, they arrested a 41-year-old third-country national. The suspect was transported to Cyprus following a highly coordinated law enforcement operation. According to police investigators, the suspect faces multiple serious charges, including: Participation in a criminal organisation Conspiracy to commit murder Conspiracy to commit a felony Laundering of proceeds from illegal activities The newly arrested individual joins three existing defendants who, according to the official indictment, face 11 severe charges related to terrorism and conspiracy to commit murder. The prosecution alleges that the individuals were acting on behalf of Hamas and were preparing to launch a strike against Israeli interests located in Cyprus. The 41-year-old suspect was brought before the Larnaca District Court, which approved a police request and issued an eight-day remand order to facilitate further interrogations. The Larnaca CID is continuing its investigation into the matter.
