He was pulled from the pool at around 9pm. An ambulance took him to the accident and emergency department at Famagusta General Hospital, where the doctor on duty certified his death. An autopsy was carried out today by pathologist Dr Nicolas Charalambous, who found that the 22-year-old died from drowning, pending laboratory test results. Paralimni Police Station is continuing its investigation.
