**Greece Denies Reports of Redesign for Great Sea Interconnector Cable Route**
In a recent statement, Greek government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis addressed rumors regarding potential changes to the route of the Great Sea Interconnector (GSI), a significant electricity cable project linking Greece and Cyprus. On Monday, Marinakis firmly stated that he was not informed of any plans to redesign the cable's path, despite a report suggesting that discussions had taken place between Greece and France about a "slight redesign."
The GSI project is crucial for enhancing energy connectivity in the Eastern Mediterranean.
