**Hannah Rowan's 'Carriers' Exhibition to Open in Limassol**
*Limassol, Cyprus* – The Edit Gallery is set to host a solo exhibition titled "Carriers," featuring new ceramic sculptures by British artist Hannah Rowan. "Carriers" is the culmination of Rowan's research and creative production during her time in Limassol. The sculptures in "Carriers" take on the form of vessels, breastplates, and protective shells, symbolizing both strength and fragility. Hannah Rowan, born in 1990 in Brighton, UK, is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in New York. Her artistic practice encompasses sculpture, installation, performance, video, and sound, utilizing materials such as ceramic, glass, metal, and water to delve into themes of intimacy, impermanence, and the interconnectedness of bodies and ecological systems. Rowan's research has taken her to diverse locations, including the Arctic Circle and the Atacama Desert, enriching her artistic perspective.
Rowan holds a Master of Arts in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins. Her work is included in several public and private collections, notably the Dakis Joannou Collection and the Anthropocene Collection at MUSE – Science Museum in Trento.
The opening of "Carriers" coincides with other cultural events in Limassol, including Milenko Stevanović’s exhibition "Closely Observed" at IN TOTO Gallery and a concert by Vakia Stavrou titled "Concert by the Walls," both scheduled for the same day, September 10, 2026.
