Defense Ministry’s statement - The Russian Armed Forces launched a massive strike using precision land-, sea-, and air-based weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, against targets in Ukraine overnight, the ministry reported. - The strikes targeted facilities in the metallurgical and chemical industries, the fuel and energy sector, and the military-industrial complex, as well as Ukrainian port infrastructure in Kiev and the Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, and Odessa Regions, and naval vessels operating on behalf of the Ukrainian armed forces, it stated. - During the massive nighttime strike, Russian troops used sea-launched Tsirkon hypersonic missiles, the ministry reported on its Max channel. Targets destroyed - According to the ministry, an industrial facility in Kiev (Fire Point LLC), which manufactured components and warheads for FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles, and a fuel and lubricants warehouse (Grandterminal LLC), used by the Ukrainian armed forces as a logistics hub for receiving and distributing diesel fuel, were struck in Kiev. - Also, in Kremenchug, Poltava Region, the JTI Ukraine tobacco factory was struck.
