The Russian Armed Forces struck transport and fuel, energy infrastructure facilities used by the Ukrainian military, as well as drone production facilities in the past 24 hours, the Defense Ministry reported. TASS has compiled the main information on the progress of the special military operation over the day. Situation in Kharkov Region Russia’s battlegroup North has established control over Khripuny in the Kharkov Region, the Defense Ministry said. "The battlegroup North continues to tighten the encirclement of Ukrainian military units in the northeast of the Kharkov Region and expand the zone of control. As a result of active offensive operations, the settlement of Khripuny in the Kharkov Region came under [Russian] control," the statement said. Moreover, Russian servicemen are fighting to liberate the settlements of Nesternoye, Lukashovo, and Grachovka in the Kharkov Region. "Fighting is underway to liberate the settlements of Nesternoye, Lukashovo, and Grachovka. Enemy forces are being eliminated near the settlements of Varvarovka and Rublenoye in the Kharkov Region," the mininstry noted. At the same time, the battlegroup continues fighting for Prikolotnoye in the Kharkov Region. "As part of efforts to expand the zone of control, the battlegroup North continues fighting for the town of Prikolotnoye in the Kharkov Region," the statement said. Meanwhile, the Russian Armed Forces thwarted two Ukrainian military attempts to break out of the Kharkov Region encirclement near the village of Nefedovka. Concurrently, Russia’s battlegroup Center liberated 94 buildings and eliminated more than 30 Ukrainian servicemen in Dobropolye in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) over the past 24 hours, the Defense Ministry emphasized. "In the DPR town of Dobropolye, the Center conducted offensive operations in the northwestern direction, continuing to eliminate encircled Ukrainian military units in the western and eastern districts of the city. A total of 94 buildings were liberated and over 30 Ukrainian servicemen were eliminated. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy made no attempts to break out of the encirclement," the statement said. Special military operation progress The Russian Armed Forces struck transport and fuel, energy infrastructure facilities used by the Ukrainian military, as well as drone production facilities in the past 24 hours, the army stresed.
