The closure affects the Larnaca-bound carriageway, in the section after the junction with the Nicosia–Limassol motorway and the exit to Pera Chorio Nisou and Alambra. It runs from 9:30am until 11:00am on Friday, August 28, police said. Traffic heading towards Larnaca is being diverted through the left-hand lane for the duration of the works. Police have urged drivers passing through the area to drive at a safe, low speed, keep a safe distance from vehicles ahead, and follow the temporary road signage in place along the affected stretch.
