The billboard, placed on kindergarten grounds close to the Faneromenis avenue roundabout in Larnaca, has drawn complaints from residents and passers-by. The structure is estimated to stand over ten metres tall and sits a short distance from the road, with part of it extending over the pavement and towards the roadway. Its size and position raise questions over compliance with the Streets and Buildings Regulation Law. Viras confirmed the municipality is aware of the case and has already taken action. Those responsible for the sign have been told to either remove it or reduce its dimensions to meet the relevant town-planning requirements. If they fail to comply, Larnaca Municipality intends to take legal action against them.
