The “LEGO Restaurants of the World: Greece (40908)” set is aimed at ages 12 and up and includes 254 pieces, which build a small Greek taverna filled with details evoking Greece and Greek gastronomy. Standout features include a large fish on the roof of the building, a “Taverna” sign, a guitar, a cup of coffee and a small cat, together forming a scene inspired by traditional Greek tavernas. The set also includes a LEGO minifigure representing the taverna’s owner, with a newly designed torso featuring Greek details, adding a play element while completing the small scene. The Greek restaurant is part of LEGO’s “Restaurants of the World” collectible series, through which the company creates miniature restaurants inspired by different countries and cultures. The sets can be displayed together or separately as decorative pieces on a shelf, in a kitchen or on a desk. According to LEGO’s official website, the set is also suggested as a gift “for those who love Greece, Greek food, travel and, of course, LEGO building.” The completed model stands over 15cm tall, around 10cm wide and 8cm deep. For now, the set is not sold on its own, but is offered as a gift with large orders from LEGO’s official website.
