According to information under examination, at around 1:00 am, as the 21-year-old was driving in Limassol, he was approached by three unknown individuals riding scooter-type mopeds. The three then blocked his path, opened the driver’s door, pulled him out of the car and beat him. The assailants then stole €1,800 in cash from the car’s drawer and fled in an unknown direction. The 21-year-old was taken by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital, where he was found to have facial injuries. He was discharged after receiving first aid. CID Limassol is continuing its investigation.
