The signing ceremony took place in Bamako in the presence of Mali’s ministers of economy and finance, as well as transport and infrastructure, Malian television channel Kati24 reported. The contract, signed in accordance with an intergovernmental agreement between Mali and Russia, is aimed at expanding Mali’s transport and logistics capacity, the television channel noted. This is particularly important for meeting the country’s supply needs for both food and industrial goods.
