**Man Arrested for Cannabis Cultivation in Nicosia**
A 35-year-old man has been taken into custody following a police operation that uncovered an illegal cannabis cultivation setup in his residence located in the Nicosia district. The arrest was confirmed by police on Monday, who reported the details of the operation.
During a search of the property, law enforcement officials discovered two cannabis grow tents situated within one of the house's bedrooms. Inside these tents, officers found a total of nine cannabis plants, which varied in height from 115 to 190 centimeters. The police also seized over 1.6 kilograms of processed cannabis, indicating a significant scale of operation.
In addition to the cannabis plants, authorities found approximately 90 grams of a white powder, which is believed to be cocaine. A precision scale was also recovered from the premises, suggesting that the man may have been involved in the distribution of illegal substances.
The police noted that the grow tents were equipped with various machines and equipment designed to regulate the temperature and humidity levels within the room, creating optimal conditions for the cannabis plants. Other items, including a watering system and additional equipment purportedly used for plant cultivation, were also confiscated during the operation.
