Russia's defense industryNew batches of Su-34 aircraft are already being manufactured — Rostec Based on combat experience, the aircraft continues to be improved, enabling crews to carry out their assigned missions more effectively, the state corporation notedMOSCOW, October 7. /TASS/. New batches of Su-34 fighter-bombers are already being manufactured, according to Rostec. The state corporation earlier reported that the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) delivered a batch of Su-34 aircraft to the Russian Defense Ministry under the state defense procurement. "The Su-34 is the undisputed best seller in the world of combat aviation. The aircraft is valued and respected by the military for its versatility, powerful armament, and high flight and technical performance. Based on combat experience, the aircraft continues to be improved, enabling crews to carry out their assigned missions more effectively. New batches of Su-34s are already being manufactured," Rostec noted. The fighter-bomber is designed to engage ground (surface) and air targets, as well as infrastructure facilities protected by air defense systems and located at significant distances from its home airfield. The aircraft can also be used for aerial reconnaissance missions. "We are maintaining a high pace of production of combat aircraft, fulfilling our obligations to the Russian Defense Ministry. Our employees at the plants are constantly refining production processes to ensure the necessary volume of aircraft production," said UAC CEO Vadim Badekha.
