According to Autostat, 122,200 new passenger cars were sold in Russia in August 2025. Thus, according to the expert’s forecast, the market may contract by 6%-10% compared with last year. "For August, we are looking at a range slightly above 110,000, somewhere between 110,000 and 115,000. The first two weeks indicate that we are moving toward precisely that level," he said. At the same time, a repeat of last year’s fall surge is not expected, the Autostat head noted. The Eastern Economic Forum will be held on September 1-4 in Vladivostok on the campus of Far Eastern Federal University.
