**New Stamps Feature Security Forces in Cyprus**

Nicosia, Cyprus – A new commemorative set of postage stamps honoring the nation’s security forces was unveiled on Monday by Transport Minister Evie Tsolaki. The ceremony took place in Nicosia, where Tsolaki emphasized the government's commitment to safety as a fundamental priority.

The stamps pay tribute to the dedicated service of the men and women in the police, fire brigade, and National Guard, highlighting their work under “difficult and demanding conditions.” Tsolaki expressed gratitude for their contributions, underscoring the importance of recognizing their efforts through this commemorative initiative.

Cyprus Post director Pavlos Pavlides provided additional details about the stamps, which were designed by Theodoros Kakoullis. The stamps are available in three denominations: 34 cents, 41 cents, and 50 cents. Additionally, a first day cover featuring the new stamps is being sold for €2.06.

The stamps officially entered circulation on September 11, marking a significant moment in honoring those who serve in the security forces of Cyprus.
