**Oev Links Cyprus Businesses with German Energy Firms**
Cyprus is set to host a series of business-to-business meetings aimed at fostering commercial partnerships between local companies and German firms operating in the energy sector. Organized by the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (Oev) in collaboration with the German-Hellenic Chamber of Industry and Commerce, these meetings will take place in Nicosia on October 13, 15, and 16, 2023.
The initiative targets Cypriot businesses involved in energy storage, electric mobility, and energy technologies, offering them a unique opportunity to engage directly with German companies specializing in various energy-related fields. The participating German firms are engaged in sectors such as energy storage systems, energy management and smart grids, photovoltaics, integrated energy solutions, charging infrastructure, electric mobility, and power converters.
Oev has emphasized that these meetings are designed to facilitate discussions on business needs and proposals, allowing local companies to exchange technical expertise and explore potential partnerships and joint projects. This initiative comes at a crucial time as Cyprus seeks to modernize its electricity network and enhance the utilization of renewable energy sources, which is increasingly important for reducing energy costs.
The meetings will be held at Oev's offices, with the first session scheduled for October 13 from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a second session on October 15 from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and a final round on October 16 from 9:00 AM to noon. Participation in these meetings is free of charge, and companies interested in taking part are encouraged to register by September 25, 2023.
To ensure a productive experience, Oev will prioritize scheduling based on the activities and interests of the participating businesses. Companies that register early will be given preference in the arrangement of individual meetings.
