One Killed in Ukrainian Attack on Wildberries Logistics Center in Voronezh

Aug. 11, 2026 Smoke rising into the morning sky in the Voronezh region on Aug. 11, 2026. @exilenova_plus / Telegram A Ukrainian drone attack killed one person and injured two others in the southwestern Voronezh region, local officials said Tuesday, with online retailer Wildberries saying that a fire broke out at one of its logistics centers during the air assault. Voronezh region Governor Alexander Gusev said a 49-year-old man died after being hospitalized for injuries he sustained from falling drone debris. He said two others, one of whom had been at a "large logistics center" during the attack, remained hospitalized. Wildberries confirmed that its logistics center was struck and said it evacuated all of its employees. The company later said firefighters managed to put out a blaze that erupted at the facility, adding that "most" of the goods stored there were undamaged. Russia's Defense Ministry said it intercepted 396 Ukrainian drones across Russia and annexed Crimea between Monday night and Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, in Ukraine, local authorities said at least six people were killed in Russian strikes in the southern city of Zaporizhzhia.
