Thus, the OPEC+ monitoring committee did not recommend any changes to the alliance’s oil production policy. The OPEC+ committee also reaffirmed that it would continue monitoring compliance with the production plan agreed at the ministerial meeting on December 5, 2024, as well as adherence to the additional voluntary cuts announced by several OPEC+ countries. In addition, the OPEC+ Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee retains the authority to convene an additional committee meeting and request an OPEC+ ministerial meeting.
