**Outdoor Summer Cinema Returns to Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation**
Nicosia, Cyprus - The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation is set to transform its courtyard into an open-air cinema as part of the Faneromeni26 Arts Festival, offering free film screenings to the public. The outdoor cinema series kicks off on July 2 at 8:30 PM with a screening of William Shakespeare's iconic love story, *Romeo+Juliet*. This modern adaptation of the classic tale promises to engage audiences with its timeless themes of love and conflict.
Following the opening night, the festival will feature a family-friendly film on July 23: the 2025 live-action remake of Disney's *Lilo & Stitch*. This adventure film, dubbed in Greek, brings a fresh perspective to the beloved story of Lilo and her extraordinary pet, Stitch, set against the vibrant backdrop of Hawaii. The film not only entertains but also celebrates the rich culture and beauty of the Hawaiian islands.
August will see the return of Tim Burton's distinctive storytelling style with two screenings. The first, *Big Fish*, will be shown on August 6 at 8:30 PM. This film, blending fantasy and drama, narrates the life of Edward Bloom, a master storyteller whose elaborate tales blur the lines between reality and fiction. The screening will be in English with Greek subtitles, allowing a broader audience to appreciate its narrative depth.
On August 27, the series will conclude with another Tim Burton classic, *Dumbo*, which will be screened in Greek with Greek subtitles. This fantasy adventure film, inspired by the original 1941 Disney animated feature, tells the story of a baby elephant with extraordinary abilities. The film features a star-studded cast, including Colin Farrell, Eva Green, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, and Alan Arkin, and aims to captivate audiences of all ages.
