At around 3.40am today, police received a report of a possible break-in at a kiosk, along with a complaint of a possible break-in at a pharmacy, both in the Aradippou area. Officers went to the scene to investigate. Checks confirmed the kiosk had been broken into, with the till drawer stolen, containing coins, along with an additional amount of coins taken from the counter. Checks also confirmed an attempted break-in at the pharmacy, though the perpetrators did not manage to get inside. Police also received a report of a possible break-in at a shop in the Aradippou area. Checks by officers confirmed the shop had been broken into, though according to the owners, nothing appears to have been stolen. During checks in the area, officers also found evidence of attempted break-ins at a second pharmacy and a second kiosk. The perpetrators did not manage to get inside either property, and nothing was stolen from either. Aradippou Police Station is continuing its investigation.
