Oct. 28, 2026 A sign with the Ozon logo in downtown Moscow. Alexander Nemenov / AFP Russia’s second-largest online retailer Ozon on Wednesday booked 30.1 billion rubles ($373.1 million) in estimated damages from Ukrainian drone attacks that have so far targeted around a dozen of its warehouses across the country. In its third-quarter earnings release, the company said the estimated losses, some of which were insured, included “damage to goods for sale, equipment disposal and impairment losses, as well as other losses and expenses.” Ozon said it was still negotiating with insurers as it seeks compensation to offset the financial impact of the drone attacks. Despite the losses, Ozon reported that revenues rose to 421.2 billion rubles ($5.2 billion) in the third quarter, a 60% increase year-on-year. Ozon said its net profit between July and September fell to 3.7 billion rubles ($45.8 million) from 10.1 billion rubles in the second quarter of 2026. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) reached 93 billion rubles ($1.1 billion), a figure that excludes estimated losses from the drone strikes. Ozon said it completed 1.2 billion orders in the third quarter, up 76% from the third quarter of 2025. On average, an Ozon customer places 51 orders per year, the company said. Ukraine began its air campaign against Ozon and its main competitor, Wildberries, this summer on accusations that they help supply the Russian military.
