Total petroleum stocks at the end of June were also down, falling 19.6% compared with the end of May. Year-on-year, ship fuel supplies fell 14.1% and aviation fuel supplies fell 13.7%. Sales also declined for kerosene, down 51%, light fuel oil, down 44.2%, heating oil, down 16.8%, asphalt, down 12.2%, and diesel, down 2.4%. Heavy fuel oil sales bucked the trend, rising 74.8% year-on-year, while petrol sales rose 1.8%. Sales from petrol stations fell 1.4% to 59,271 tonnes. Compared with May 2026, total petroleum sales rose 1.5% month-on-month. Aviation fuel supplies rose 6.1% and ship fuel supplies rose 5.9%, while diesel sales climbed 5.6% and petrol sales rose 4.5%.
