"The high voter turnout and the results of the popular vote clearly confirm the broad support for your efforts to strengthen domestic political stability, ensure the country’s dynamic socioeconomic development, and protect its interests on the international stage," the Russian leader said in a telegram published on the Kremlin’s website.
