Everywhere, on every front," he stated, suggesting that Ukraine's actions warrant a strong response from Russia.
The Russian leader characterized Ukraine's military actions as provocative and indicated that they would face consequences. "They should therefore be made to feel Russia’s retaliatory strikes and understand that no provocative actions, no stirring up the situation to secure a result, will work," he remarked, adding that such actions would only exacerbate the situation for Ukraine.
In contrast, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has defended his country's military responses, arguing that they are justified reactions to Russia's attacks on Ukrainian civilians and infrastructure. Zelenskiy has also called for direct negotiations with Russia to seek a resolution to the conflict.
Putin acknowledged that Ukraine's recent calls for a ceasefire and renewed talks were influenced by the difficulties faced by the Ukrainian military in countering advanced Russian drone technology.
