Representatives from more than 40 countries have registered for the international Kazan Digital Week forum, which will take place on October 29-31, 2026, the forum’s organizers told TASS. "Representatives from 47 countries have registered to participate in the forum. The business program is 95% complete. The forum’s events will take place in 21 halls and three exhibition spaces. The plenary session will focus on ‘Trusted Digital Ecosystem: Artificial Intelligence, Data and Technological Sovereignty,’" the organizers said following a meeting of the organizing committee for the forum, chaired by Russian Digital Development Minister Maksut Shadaev. Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin and President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov also attended the meeting. The traditional exhibition held during the forum will be expanded this year. "It will occupy three pavilions with a total area of 20,000 square meters, one-third larger than last year. So far, 86% of the exhibition space has already been booked. Most of the solutions on display are related to artificial intelligence technologies," the statement said. According to the organizers, participants will for the first time have access to an expanded startup alley and a pitch session area featuring 60 IT projects: 30 Russian, 20 foreign and 10 teams that won hackathons. The semifinals and final of the fourth season of the International Robot Battle Championship will also take place in Kazan during the forum. "Participants will attend 10 partner events, ranging from the All-Russian Student Hackathon to develop chatbots for the national messenger Max to the international Kazan Digital Fashion Week fashion show on October 30-31 and a gala hockey match," the organizers added.
